Little Greenie

The 2013 Little Greenie project involved constructing a demonstration home that is healthier, more sustainable and more energy efficient and teaching young trainee builders Little Greenie design principles. This was a 2013 project run through the WelTec Carpentry Course based at the then Clean Technology Centre. The house built by the students has since been sold and moved to Ohakune, a location which will make great use of its superior insulation performance. Energise Ōtaki members helped to facilitate and organise the project.
