Leigh has been Chair of Energise Ōtaki for seven years – Leading it from a group of volunteers, through to an Incorporated Society, and to full charitable status at it stands now.
Leigh’s day job is Managing Director (MD) of Blended Fuel Solutions which specialises in Emulsion liquid fuel. He is also MD of Nufuels which is commercialising technology to extract oil/fuel from plastics, tyres and wood.
Leigh has been involved in the Ōtaki community for 10 years and lives at Ōtaki Beach. He has been committed to Energise Ōtaki because of his passion for improving energy efficiency and reducing waste because of the positive and lasting affects those actions have on society.
