We’re having a party to celebrate the Ōtaki Bike Space!
Everyone is welcome. Pedal Ready will be here providing a kids bike obstacle course, and bike checks. There will also be a sausage sizzle and juicies for sale. And volunteers from Energise Ōtaki will be helping out to answer any questions, or if you are in need of a bike, or want to do a bike swap, we can help sort you out.
The hope for the Ōtaki Bike Space is that it will become a community resource where people who don’t have access to bikes can come and get a bike for their personal or professional use.
There are also a lot of fun events that are happening in our town, and we think it would be so neat to see visitors able to hop on a bike and take a ride down to the beach, or get from one place to another via bike.
We’d love to see you at this event on Tuesday 1 October 2019. It is a perfect outing for you and your child on the first Tuesday of School Holidays October 1, 2019! The event starts at 11am at 2 Convent Road, Ōtaki (St Peter Chanel School parking lot).
