In 2014, The Energise Ōtaki Steering Group was a loose coalition of interested individuals and organisations who came together to advance the Energise Ōtaki concept. Key organisations participating were: Kāpiti Coast District Council, Ōtaki College, clean technology businesses and Ōtaki Community Board.
In 2014, the steering group met on a six weekly cycle at the Clean Technology Centre, Miro St, Ōtaki. The scheduled meetings are at 1.30pm 8 April, 2014.
